How Admix builds

Build the smallest system that removes the real friction.

Admix is most useful when a problem crosses boundaries: two systems that do not exchange the right data, a manual process nobody trusts, or a workflow whose failure state is harder to understand than the workflow itself.

1. Map what happens today

Identify inputs, outputs, systems, people, manual steps, permissions, failure points, sensitive data, and what currently acts as the source of truth.

2. Define the useful result

Avoid starting with a giant feature list. Define the smallest result that removes real work or uncertainty.

3. Build the narrow version

Prefer a focused working path over a wide unfinished platform.

4. Test against the actual workflow

Use real constraints, representative data, failure paths, and operational evidence.

5. Add supportability

Include clear errors, diagnostics, configuration, documentation, and recovery behavior.

6. Generalize carefully

Remove assumptions only when doing so helps another real use case.

Not every problem needs custom software.

Sometimes the right answer is a configuration change, a small integration, or removing a step entirely. Admix should be willing to say that.
